Chris Corrigan turned in his second straight scoreless outing, holding Fort Myers to one hit over a career-high six innings in Class A Advanced Palm Beach's 5-0 win Thursday afternoon.

Corrigan, who allowed one hit in his previous start, struck out four and took a no-hitter into the fifth, when Lance Ray hit a two-out single. He worked around a walk to Michael Gonzales in the sixth en route to his first win of the season. He did not allow one runner to reach second base.

Zach Russell, Ricky Martinez and Logan Billbrough combined to hold Fort Myers to a pair of hits over the final three innings as Palm Beach took its three-game series with the Twins affiliate. Palm Beach has now won seven of its last nine games.

Corrigan, St. Louis' 30th-round pick in 2009, has held opponents to one run or fewer in four of his five outings this season. The San Jacinto College North (Houston) product has 18 strikeouts and has allowed just five runs in 16 2/3 innings.

Corrigan worked with a lead all afternoon as Mike O'Neill drew a leadoff walk in the first and scored on a wild pitch by Madison Boer; O'Neill went 1-for-2 to extend his hitting streak to 13. Vance Albitz knocked home Ronny Gil with a sacrifice fly in the third and added another sac fly in the fifth. Travis Tartamella's RBI double capped a two-run sixth.

Fort Myers starter Madison Boer, the Twins' second-round pick in last year's Draft, made his Class A Advanced debut and was charged with five runs -- three earned -- on eight hits and three walks over 5 2/3 innings. The University of Oregon product struck out one to take the loss in his first start since being promoted from Class A Beloit, where he went 2-2 with a 3.58 ERA in five starts.
